Farrow and Ball - Commercial Finance Manager - 40 hours per week
We are currently looking for a trusted and inspiring leader to work within the Farrow & Ball Leadership Team. The Commercial Finance Manager's purpose is to lead a high performing team of commercial analysts, that partner with the Commercial Leadership of Farrow & Ball, providing insightful and actionable commercial analysis, enabling effective decision making and driving profitable growth. This role is a hybrid working (2-3 days in the office).
As the leader of this team, this role sets the standards for collaboration, and robust presentation of actionable insights, always digging deeper within data to find the meaning, creating and presenting clear narratives that allow clear and fast decision making.

What we expect from you as a Commercial Finance Manager:
Key Responsibilities:
* Partner the commercial leadership team in all markets, all channels, in the provision of information, analysis and insight to accelerate growth. Be a strategic voice and sparring partner at the table.
* Lead, manage and develop a team of high performing commercial analysts. Set high standards of analysis and storytelling, coach and develop the team.
* Assume ownership of clear and transparent revenue reporting both within Farrow & Ball and to the wider Hempel Group.
* Lead the business in evaluating and enhancing its primary growth initiatives, ensuring leading indicators and performance metrics are created, monitored, and communicated.
* Proactively identify new ways of working to streamline reporting and need for manual interventions across the business
* Delivery of the quarterly forecasting process working collaboratively with Financial Controller and wider Leadership Team to ensure alignment.
* Responsible for the creation and maintenance of processes and reporting methodology to align annual, quarterly and monthly sales forecasting that ensures strong forecast accuracy. This includes leading the tracking of the S&OP monthly and weekly updates, partnering with the Commercial leads and Planning lead.
* Deliver performance updates and revenue analysis to internal and external stakeholders
* Management of marketing return on investment that enables confidence the business can continue to increase its Revenue reinvestment rates whilst protecting and growing profit.
* Ownership of retail and wholesale pricing models, with collation and advice on annual increases and support business in price decisions.
* Be a key member of project teams providing accurate and timely information and insight to assist in creating business cases plus the setting and monitoring of relevant Business Driver KPIs.
* Management of external rebate schemes, building tools to track performance and report progress to commercial teams whilst providing financial estimates to be included in financial reports.
* Creation and stress testing of different financial models to ensure the business optimises profitability whilst also improves customer experience.
Key Attributes:
* Qualified accountant (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
* Demonstrate relevant experience of leading a team.
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and influence stakeholders
* High level of numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strategic mindset with ability to think critically and identify solutions
* Experience in presenting commercial and finance metrics to non-finance teams and key partners
