Overview
Transaction Services Director (Lifesciences and Healthcare) role at ACCA Careers. This position focuses on independently developing and growing the Transaction Services business within Corporate Finance, with experience in financial due diligence for corporate or strategic buyers, private equity or financial buyers and vendors, and/or reporting accountant’s work. Sector knowledge in Life Sciences & Healthcare is preferred.
Responsibilities
* Manage financial due diligence projects, including day-to-day progress and delivering quality transaction advice to clients
* Create environments for our people to thrive, supporting their development and progression
* Work across multiple concurrent projects, prioritising clients and teams effectively
* Manage client relationships and take ownership of commercial and risk management
* Help the team use new tools and approaches (such as data analytics)
* Identify and develop client opportunities to enhance the business
* Maintain existing client and referrer relationships including through Key Account Management programmes
* Deliver pitches and presentations to win work and grow the brand
* Identify areas for operational improvement and take ownership of projects to implement change
* Help people thrive through involvement in activities such as people management, learning and development and recruitment
Qualifications
* Good working knowledge of transaction services
* Life Sciences & Healthcare experience is preferred or advantageous
* Previous experience of managing teams
* Self-starter who works well in a team but can also work autonomously
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Proactive approach to continuous development
* ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or relevant work experience
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office, in particular PowerPoint and Excel
