Amazing Double Glazing Ltd is looking for experienced window and door installers to join our growing team based in Edinburgh. Driving is essential for this role.
As a window and door installer, you will play a crucial role in the installation of uPVC, composite, timber and aluminium windows and doors for our customers throughout Edinburgh and central Scotland. We also provide other products and services including internal doors, conservatories and extensions. You would be working on a variety of projects from domestic residential properties to public buildings and maintaining our excellent reviews online by providing our customers with a high-quality service from start to finish.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a window and door installer.
* Proficient in installing various window and door types and able to carry out repairs.
* Knowledge of different materials and techniques used in window and door installation.
* In-depth knowledge of conservatory installations preferred but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Able to maintain excellent client relationships.
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
* Willingness to work on jobs throughout Central Scotland – currently approximately 80% of work is in Edinburgh, with some jobs around Livingston, Falkirk, Fife and Glasgow.
* Be a good timekeeper with the ability to be flexible to suit individual job requirements.
* Maintain cleanliness when working at a customer's house, and excellent silicone/finishing of jobs.
* Full, clean driving licence is essential for this role, as the individual will be driving one of the company's branded vans.
* Pay is dependent on skills and previous experience.
