Tesco Colleague - New Milton Express, New Milton, England, United Kingdom. Tesco is recruiting for a Colleague to join our New Milton Express store.
Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with options to work fewer hours (minimum of 12) if desired.
The availability windows show the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility if your available times closely match but do not exactly align with the advertised times.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Putting training into practice to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly.
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering in-store routines to meet customer needs at the right time.
* Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events to create a great, inclusive atmosphere.
* Understanding the store’s performance and your role in driving service, sales, reducing waste and delivering profit.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
* Being yourself, living Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
* At times, you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
