Speech & Language SEN Support Assistant – Wolverhampton
Daily Rate: £90–£105 per day | Full-time
We’re looking for a compassionate and proactive Speech & Language SEN Support Assistant to join one of our specialist schools in Wolverhampton.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting pupils with speech, language, and communication needs across the school
* Assisting with individual and group therapy programmes, following guidance from the Speech and Language Therapist
* Using a range of communication tools and strategies, including visuals, PECS, and Makaton
* Tracking pupil progress and providing feedback to the SENCo and therapy team
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working within SEN, care, or speech therapy environments
* Knowledge of PECS, Makaton, or a genuine willingness to train
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* A patient, supportive approach and a real passion for helping young people find their voice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
