Grade 5 SCP 9-17: actual salary £26,409 - £30,060

Office Manager/SLT PA

Attendance, Front-of-House Services and Administration Support

Contract Type

Term Time Only, 37 hours per week


Working Hours

Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:00pm; Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm


Key Responsibilities

1. Attendance management, including logging student attendance onto SIMS and monitoring records.
2. Responding to referrals to the TLS Connect student stream.
3. Completing legal paperwork related to attendance.
4. Ensuring high accuracy in data entry and reporting.
5. Monitoring and analyzing whole school attendance data to identify concerns.
6. Generating reports on behavior and attendance for SLT.
7. Maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.
8. Providing a professional and welcoming reception service.
9. Managing visitor sign-in and safeguarding protocols.
10. Answering calls and emails promptly and accurately.
11. Monitoring student entry/exit and managing lateness, appointments, and departures.
12. Handling post and deliveries appropriately.
13. Providing administrative support to the Office Manager/SLT PA and staff.
14. Assisting with communications, including letters, emails, and texts.
15. Maintaining student records in the MIS system.
16. Supporting the preparation of documents for meetings and events.
17. Organizing electronic and paper files.
18. Responding to student queries and administering first aid when needed.
19. Liaising with parents and external agencies to support student welfare and transition arrangements.
