Senior Quantity Surveyor – Capital Commercial Department
Severn Trent is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Capital Commercial Department at either our Raynesway (Derby) office or Finham (Coventry) office. In this role you will negotiate contracts and provide commercial support throughout delivery, working closely with our design and delivery teams to manage internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Negotiate contracts and provide commercial support throughout delivery.
* Work closely with design and delivery teams to manage internal and external stakeholders.
* Support Project Managers to ensure contracts are managed, including assessment of contract events, applications for payment and issuing contract notifications.
* Lead dispute resolution and manage contract events.
* Develop sourcing and contract strategies, and draft, test and negotiate work orders with contractors.
Qualifications and Experience
* Quantity Surveyor with experience in procurement or a related field.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with procedures and accurate reporting.
* A passion for delivering great value for customers.
* Relevant transferable skills and a can‑do attitude; will support you to sponsor your professional qualifications and invest in ongoing development.
