About the Role
Leader Recruitment Group, a trusted specialist in recruitment for children's residential care, is recruiting compassionate and enthusiastic Children's Support Workers for a children's home in Worthing. This role involves creating a nurturing environment and supporting children with complex needs and behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Create a safe, caring, and welcoming home environment.
* Support children’s daily needs and foster trust-based relationships.
* Engage in activities like football, gaming, cycling, baking, etc.
* Provide emotional and physical support, empowering children.
* Assist with household tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
* Build meaningful connections and encourage independence.
* Work shifts, including weekends and sleep-in duties (approx. 4-8 per month).
What We're Looking For
* Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* A genuine passion for supporting young people, with a caring, flexible, and resilient attitude.
* Strong communication skills, enthusiasm for engaging activities.
* Ability to build rapport with young people and colleagues.
* Willingness to work shifts and undertake sleep-in duties.
