We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Learning Support Assistant to work within EYFS 2 days per week all day Thursday and Friday. 8.40 – 3.20pm to support an individual child/ren (visits are welcomed to discuss the role) who would love the opportunity to make an impact on the teaching and learning at Northgate school. You will require patience, flexibility and be committed to helping children develop as independent and confident individuals.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to work closely with the class teacher, parents and external agencies as well as being confident to work independently, as required. You should be keen to learn, be able to work on your own initiative, and carry out advice consistently. You will be passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential and committed to supporting our teachers.
Candidates who are innovative, really understand the children, help to engage them in learning, have excellent behaviour management strategies and who are willing to take part in the overall life of the school are strongly encouraged to apply.

Salary will be paid on the National Joint Council Pay range H2-H3 (pro rata) depending upon experience.
