An opportunity has arisen for an experienced dental care professional to join the Operational Management Team within Glasgow Dental Hospital.
The post holder will be accountable to the Operational Governance Manager and will be responsible for the daily efficient and effective co-ordination of staff hygienists and dental nursing staff within the Glasgow Dental Hospital, ensuring a high standard of care for all patient groups.
The post holder will work closely with the Operational Governance Manager developing and monitoring governance issues and service improvement activities. These service improvements will involve multidisciplinary audit, planning, implementation and evaluation and will include negotiating with a range of key stakeholders.
The post holder will support action planning and development required to improve the quality of care delivered across Oral Health in Secondary Care. The post holder will play a key role in developing an improved career structure and effective succession planning for the dental nursing and staff hygienist teams.
The post holder will play a key role in assisting and supporting the Oral Health Directorate team in development of a culture of improved performance which supports the continuous development of services and critical review of progress against key objectives. The post holder will work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues to drive forward improvements in outcomes for patients and resource utilisation.
