Morson Vital have an excellent opportunity for a CEM who has strong working knowledge with OLE and Lineside Civils.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly competent OLE & Lineside Civils Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) to lead engineering assurance and delivery across rail infrastructure projects. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring that all Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) and associated civils works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities/Requirements:
?? Act as the Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) in accordance with rail industry standards.
?? Provide engineering leadership across OLE and lineside civils disciplines.
?? Ensure all works comply with relevant standards (e.g. Network Rail standards, CDM Regulations).
?? Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
?? Oversee design reviews, approvals, and technical submissions.
?? Ensure robust engineering assurance processes are implemented and maintained.
?? Interface with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
?? Identify and manage engineering risks and opportunities.
?? Support project planning, resource allocation, and delivery milestones.
Essential Requirements
?? Proven experience as a CEM within the UK rail industry.
?? Strong background in OLE (Overhead Line Equipment) and lineside civils works.
?? In-depth knowledge of rail standards, engineering processes, and compliance requirements.
?? Demonstrable experience managing engineering teams on complex infrastructure projects. xsngvjr
