Our client is looking for an experienced Generator Service Engineers to join their team based out of their Hemel and Braintree depots. The role will be responsible providing onsite customer support to our range of generator machinery within the region, with a primary focus on keeping the machinery in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Both Workshop and Onsite customer support to our range of Generators within the region
Investigate, diagnose and resolve customer reports of technical problems with equipment
Repair and service of generators and associated equipment
Complete paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner
Have the ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems
Good customer service skills Key skills we are looking for:
Minimum of 5 years experience servicing Industrial diesel generators in a field based role
Excellent working knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels and wiring diagrams
Excellent verbal, written and critical thinking skills
IT Proficient
Interpersonal relationships/ Customer awareness/ Commercial awareness
Efficient and flexible with the ability to work without supervision
Additional beneficial qualifications could include PASMA, CSCS card and Powered Access, 18th Edition plus the ability to service the range of machines would also be useful In return, you will receive:
