About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer with strong design assurance experience to join a leading aerospace and defence engineering organisation based in Fareham.

You will play a key role in ensuring that products and processes meet stringent aerospace standards, while driving continuous improvement across design, development, and production.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop and implement quality assurance plans for aerospace design and development projects
Review and approve technical documentation to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
Conduct project audits and ensure adherence to AS9100, ARP4754, DO-178C, and DO-254
Manage QA interfaces between engineering teams, suppliers, and customers
Identify, manage, and resolve non-conformances and deviations
Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce non-quality costs
Act as the focal point for all project-related quality activities
What We're Looking For
Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
Experience working within aerospace, defence, or regulated engineering environments
Solid understanding of design assurance and aerospace standards (ARP4754, DO-178C, DO-254, AS9100)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to influence and drive improvements
Eligible to work on sensitive NATO projects (must be a citizen of a NATO country)
Able to commute to Fareham (within roughly 45 minutes) or open to relocation
