We are currently recruiting a dedicated Nurse to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group UK&I on a part time basis, contracted to 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities
* Assessing and treating patients attending with minor injury and minor illness presentations
* Delivering high quality, person-centred care using up-to-date evidence-based knowledge
* Undertaking nursing treatments and procedures for patients e.g. wound care, suture removal, ECGs, vaccinations, phlebotomy
* Participating in health screening duties and health promotion
* Assessing and re-evaluating clinical situations and acting accordingly
* Monitoring and improving standards of care through evidence-based practice, clinical audit, research and education
Ideal Candidate
* Have a current Nursing and Midwifery Council Registration
* Have a state-approved or recognised Diploma or Degree in Adult Nursing
* Have appropriate post-registration experience in a Primary Care environment (however training can be given to the right candidate)
* Have good interpersonal and communication skills
* Be IT-literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Be an effective team member
* Be able to work unsupervised
* Be able to organise and prioritise workload
* Be able to demonstrate continuing professional development
