Retail Kiosk Chef – Seasonal (Cricket Season) Location: Edgbaston Cricket Ground Contract: Seasonal We are looking for a confident and capable Retail Kiosk Chef to join our team for the upcoming cricket season at Edgbaston Cricket Ground. This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role where you will often be working independently within a retail kiosk environment. You’ll need to be organised, proactive, and comfortable managing your own section during busy match days. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking a variety of fast-paced, high-quality food items including pizzas, loaded fries, hot dogs, curries, and other street food-style dishes Managing your own kiosk during service, ensuring efficiency and consistency Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety Delivering excellent customer service and clear communication with both customers and team members Monitoring stock levels and minimising waste Requirements: Experience at Commis Chef level or above Ability to work confidently alone in a busy environment Strong communication skills Solid understanding of food allergens and dietary requirements Relevant chef/catering qualification (essential) A positive attitude and the ability to perform under pressure What We Offer: Exciting, energetic work environment within a major sporting venue Seasonal contract aligned with the cricket calendar Opportunity to gain experience in high-volume event catering If you’re a motivated chef who enjoys working in a lively atmosphere and can take ownership of your own space, we’d love to hear from you.
