PK Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Sheffield to recruit a passionate and committed Geography Teacher for a long-term supply position (4 days per week).
This is an excellent opportunity for a Geography specialist seeking a stable, long-term role within a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.
The Role:
* Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4
* Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
* Assess, track and report on student progress
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning environment
* Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life where appropriate
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons
* Inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment
* Follow school policies on safeguarding, behaviour and assessment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Specialism in Geography or a related subject
* Recent experience teaching in a UK secondary school
* Strong classroom management skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
