What you'll be doing:
1. Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines for various data types and sources.
2. Perform data engineering tasks to meet business demands, refining technical features as needed.
3. Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
4. Implement and enforce best practices for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
5. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to prepare data for analytics, machine learning, and reporting.
6. Automate data processes to reduce manual interventions and improve efficiency.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in data pipelines to minimize operational disruptions.
8. Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and fostering collaboration.

Qualifications and experience:
* Previous experience as a Data Engineer with large-scale data infrastructure.
* Proficiency in Python and SQL, with practical application in data engineering.
* Hands-on experience with Databricks and managing data pipelines.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
* Knowledge of working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automating testing and deployment.
* Understanding of data security and governance principles.
* Ability to mentor, lead projects, and communicate technical concepts effectively.
