Carbon60 are proud to be partnering global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry, for an Environmental Health & Safety Advisor within the Quality department.
This EHS Advisor position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. Controlling the completion of Risk Assessment and completing of Control of Substances Harmful to Health (COSHH) Assessments.
To create EHS policies for the business in line with UK Law and LHT group requirements.
To deliver targets for health & safety implementation and compliance.
To develop and introduce Safety Team from cross functions of the business.
To assess new substances including set up and maintaining REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & restriction of Chemicals) requirement.
To become part of the Lufthansa Technik (LHT) EHS community and attend summits and workshops as required.
To advise on EHS training and develop with the colleagues responsible for training.
To develop and maintain a control plan for monitoring of requirement for EHS testing for the business.
To support Human Resources where required on occupational health requirements.
To support the Quality Team in aspects of their work, this could include update of company procedures.
Experience completing Risk Assessments, Audits and reviewing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Sheets.
NEBOSH Diploma level or equivalent preferred.
