Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Home Manager to lead our team at a dementia care home in Beccles. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional knowledge of CQC standards and regulations, along with hands-on skills in dementia care management.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with CQC standards.
* Manage and support staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
* Develop and implement care plans tailored to residents' individual needs, with a focus on dementia care.
* Ensure effective communication with residents, families, and external agencies.
* Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making necessary improvements.
* Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience in managing a care home, specifically with expertise in dementia care.
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards and regulations.
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work hands-on and lead by example.
* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
