Teaching Personnel are currently wokring on behalf of an outstanding Secondary School within Birmingham who are looking to appoint a Head of Year on a long term basis. For the right candidate a permanent position may become available.
The ideal candidate will be available to work between the hours of 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday during term time and will have prior experience as a head of year!
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor and promote excellent behaviour and attendance across your specific year group.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve attendance where needed.
• Celebrate and reward students’ positive achievements and progress.
• Support and develop the practice of colleagues within the pastoral team.
• Strategically lead and oversee initiatives that support student engagement and growth
