The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team creates and delivers products to Visa clients and accelerates the seamless delivery of our products. VCS has high growth ambitions, expecting to more than double our business over the next five years. This is a unique opportunity to be part of expanding sales outside core Visa offerings in the fast-moving world of payments.
This role will be responsible for partnering with high growth acquiring clients to achieve ambitious targets for new commercial card acceptance with a focus on ecommerce. The scope is Pan-EU and will require travel to meet key clients across the region. Business payments are the largest untapped opportunity for Visa in Europe, and this role will be central to bringing new flows onto the Visa network.
We work in an agile environment, so this person must be proactive in achieving goals and skilled in pivoting and adjusting as new information and opportunities come to light.

Responsibilities include partnering with high-growth acquiring clients to meet targets for new commercial card acceptance, especially in ecommerce, across the Pan-EU region, requiring travel to meet clients. Business payments represent a major untapped opportunity for Visa in Europe, and this role is crucial for onboarding new flows onto the Visa network.
Working in an agile environment, the individual must be proactive and adaptable to achieve objectives and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
What we expect of you, day to day
1. Lead prospecting and customer acquisition strategies with acquirers; collaborate with acquirers to promote the benefits of card acceptance to end customers.
2. Focus on growing new B2B card acceptance in ecommerce; identify opportunities with acquirers and marketplaces to increase acceptance.
3. Work closely with Account Executives to coordinate opportunities and build relationships.
4. Understand acquirers’ pain points and needs to develop compelling propositions for acceptance and issuing.
5. Have knowledge of B2B payment needs across various business sizes and the acquiring and banking dynamics.
6. Articulate the benefits of commercial card payments including working capital, fraud reduction, and frictionless transactions.
7. Think creatively to develop innovative deal structures.
8. Research market trends to identify new clients and opportunities.
9. Assess deal potential based on Visa’s solutions and involve cross-functional teams as needed.
10. Maintain a client-first sales approach to create tailored solutions that grow Visa and client businesses.
11. Negotiate deal margins effectively, focusing on value to close deals efficiently.
12. Leverage internal and external partnerships to deliver the best solutions to clients.
This is a hybrid position; in-office days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Experience:
* Senior-level B2B sales experience in acquiring and card payments.
* Experience working with high-growth fintech acquirers, B2B software platforms, and ISVs.
* Experience engaging with Treasurers, Finance, and Procurement heads on working capital and ROI.
Knowledge Focus Areas: Deep understanding of sales cycles.
Skills/competencies: Ability to lead customer acquisition, collaborate internally, build client relationships, and execute ambitious goals with resilience and passion for payments and fintech.
