3. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data entry is up to date.
4. Assist with processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
5. Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash accounts.
6. Support month-end reporting and preparation of financial statements.
7. Respond to internal and external queries regarding financial matters.
8. Collaborate with the accounting & finance team to improve processes.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
10. Provide administrative support as needed within the department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. A strong understanding of basic accounting principles having worked in a similar role previously.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
13. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial tasks.
14. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
15. Strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues and external partners.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
