We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a 6-month contract on a civil engineering project involving water pipeline installation, groundworks, and backfilling of a reinforced concrete (RC) tank. This role is Outside IR35 and open to CIS or LTD company contractors. Key Responsibilities: * Setting out for water pipeline works * Supervision and quality control of groundworks and trenching * Checking and overseeing backfilling operations * Engineering support for RC tank construction * Maintaining site records, QA documentation, and as-built drawings * Ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications, and RAMS * Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and stakeholders * Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site Requirements: * Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects * Strong background in water pipelines, groundworks, and RC structures * Competent with setting-out equipment (GPS / Total Station) * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications * Valid CSCS card (essential) * SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred) * Blue EUSR * Available immediately or at short notice What’s on Offer: * 6-month contract on a live infrastructure project * ...
