The Role – Junior Quantity Surveyor This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to develop their career within a hands-on engineering environment. You will work closely with senior commercial and project teams, supporting the delivery of mechanical and fabrication projects from tender stage through to final account. You will gain exposure to all aspects of quantity surveying, including cost control, procurement, valuations and client interaction, while contributing to the financial success of live projects. Key Responsibilities Health & Safety awareness across all project activities Assist with tendering and procurement of subcontractors and materials Track and manage variations throughout the project lifecycle Measure and record site progress and quantities Analyse drawings, specifications and project documentation Support cost planning, budgeting and forecasting Prepare valuations, claims and final accounts in line with deadlines Attend site and commercial meetings as required Maintain accurate reporting and commercial documentation About You Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline Around 1–2 years’ experience in a contractor, consultancy or engineering environment Experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit or similar software Strong understanding of construction drawings and project documentation Excellent communication and organisational skills Detail-oriented with strong numerical and analytical ability Motivated, reliable and keen to develop within a commercial role Focused on delivering accurate work to tight deadlines What’s on Offer Salary: €40,000 - €50,000 (DOE) Benefits: Vehicle or travel allowance Pension contribution Training and professional development support Clear progression to intermediate and senior level roles Exposure to a wide range of engineering projects Why Apply?
