Working Schedule:
Monday - Friday (37.5 hours a week)
Major Job Functions
12. Install, maintain, modify and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment/lighting systems.
13. Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers, transfer switches and switchgear.
14. Utilise blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s installation manuals to complete assigned projects.
15. Survey electrical systems, circuits and plans.
16. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Termination of power/control/monitoring wiring.

Knowledge
Have deep understanding/extensive knowledge and considerable experience of electrics
Accountability
For industrial/commercial works (not domestic). Work to BS 7671 (18th Edition) wiring regulations. Work in compliance with national electric code/regulations. Demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC requirements.
Education and Experience
21. CSCS Electricians grade/JIB card
22. NVQ level 3
23. Test & inspection 2394/2395 (old 2391)
24. Full UK drivers licence
25. Fire alarm installation experience
26. Containment installation (ladder/tray/basket/galvanised conduit) experience
27. Desirable:
28. Confined space trained/qualified
29. PASMA trained/qualified
30. MEWPs/IPAF trained/qualified
31. First aid trained/qualified
32. CompEx trained/qualified
33. SMSTS or SSSTS qualified
