Secretary/Personal Assistant - Surgical Specialities
To provide a professional and efficient secretary/Personal Assistant within the secretarial and administration teams. This includes supporting clinical staff in various specialties within the directorate, in delivering a high-quality service for patients.
We are currently looking to recruit to multiple roles within surgical specialities across the Acute Division. Consideration of full and part time roles for the right candidate will be considered.
These roles will be working within dynamic office environments, supporting our experienced clinical teams to provide the very best possible service for our patients.
This fast paced role will provide the right candidate with daily variety and ongoing sense of achievement. Encompassed within a high quality administrative team, who will welcome new members to the department and support their development and understanding of the requirements of these exciting roles.

Main duties of the job
* Act as a personal assistant - being the main contact for the Consultants to support with administrative queries and tasks
* Provide a fast, accurate, comprehensive typing service to clinical specialties across the surgical directorate
* Undertake compiling of letters using digital system TPRO
* Liaison with a wide multi-disciplinary team, regularly communicating with internal and external staff
* Validation of patient pathways to ensure results are promptly reviewed and next steps are actioned
* Schedule appointments

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Good Standard of Education - 3 GCSEs
* Experience of Working in a team
* Experience of secretarial/PA work
* Flexibility in line with service needs
* Motivated and use of own initiative
