Financial Controller Location: Hitchin £70-£80k bonus We're working with a fast-growing, multi-sector investment group looking for a hands-on Finance Lead to build, shape, and elevate their finance function. Responsibilities: Lead all financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, reporting, payroll, and bookkeeping. Provide commercial insight to guide scaling, investment, and operational decisions. Implement robust processes, controls, and financial policies. Prepare accurate financial statements and reports, supporting audits and compliance. Lead, mentor, and develop a talented accounting team. Candidate Profile: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with proven financial management experience. Commercially minded, strategic, and hands-on. Comfortable in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments, ideally having helped a business scale or transform. A natural leader who thrives on variety, challenge, and making a tangible impact.
