Administration and Business Support - Darcy House Care Home


Contract: Full Time


Salary: £12.21 Per Hour


Shift Type: Days


Contracted hours: 32

Our luxury care home in the beautiful town of Matlock provides personalised Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Palliative care for up to 78 residents.

We are now looking for a warm, organised, and professional Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our home. This is a key role where your friendly and professional approach will help create a positive first impression for residents, families, and visitors.

What We Offer

* £12.21 per hour
* 32 hours per week
* Paid DBS, pension scheme, and uniform provided
* Free onsite parking
* 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro rata for part-time)

What You Will Do
As Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for everyone entering the home. You will welcome and assist residents, relatives, and professionals with warmth and efficiency, helping them feel at ease. You will manage incoming calls, sort and distribute mail, and maintain accurate records. You’ll also assist with general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and updating resident information, ensuring the smooth running of the office.
