Are you a systems-focused engineer with a passion for robotics, automation, and end-to-end project delivery?
We’re supporting a leading industrial automation innovator in their search for a Systems Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary team. You’ll play a key role in concept development, system validation, and full-lifecycle delivery of bespoke robotic and electromechanical systems used across aerospace, defence, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
️ Design and develop system-level solutions for complex automation and robotic systems
Support testing, qualification, and commissioning of custom solutions
5+ years’ experience in engineering design or automation manufacturing
~ Strong experience with documentation, testing, and system integration
~ Skilled in problem-solving, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration
~ Proficiency in MS Office (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
~ Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Software Engineering
Bonus if you have:
SolidWorks or other 3D CAD experience
PLCs, robotics (KUKA/FANUC), or machine vision exposure
Familiarity with ISO standards or software control (C#, PLC logic)
Knowledge of composite materials or advanced manufacturing techniques
Work with some of the UK’s most advanced robotics and automation systems
