Role overview:
As an Art Technician, you will support the smooth running of the Art Department, ensuring that lessons are well-resourced and that students can fully engage in practical learning. You will work closely with teaching staff to prepare materials, maintain equipment, and contribute to a safe and inspiring creative environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Prepare and organise materials and equipment for Art lessons
* Maintain and manage stock levels, ordering supplies as required
* Ensure all tools and equipment are safe, clean, and ready for use
* Support students during practical sessions where appropriate
* Assist with the display of student work across the department and school
* Maintain art studios, including cleaning and organising workspaces
* Support health and safety procedures within the department
