At Whole Foods Market, we are committed to nourishing people and the planet. In this role, you will support the Customer Service & E-Commerce programs by leading processes that support the checkout experience and grocery delivery & pickup at your assigned store. You will focus on safety, quality of outbound online orders, a great pickup experience, team productivity, and program execution. You will monitor key performance indicators and visual cues in-store to assess team performance. Your responsibilities include managing capacity, labor utilization, adherence to pick processes, and task execution for E-Commerce; as well as cash management, customer demand, and store process execution for Customer Service. As a Supervisor, you will support the Team Leader in developing team members, uphold WFM core values, leadership principles, and store initiatives, and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Deliver outstanding customer experience and hold team members accountable for service quality.
2. Set clear expectations for in-store and online customer service.
3. Monitor customer flow and assign tasks to balance needs.
4. Stay informed about competitors and industry trends.
5. Respond effectively to customer questions, requests, and concerns.
6. Build collaborative relationships with departmental leaders, store leadership, and partners like Amazon delivery drivers.
7. Promote a positive environment of teamwork, respect, and morale.
8. Maintain safety and security standards for team members.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
10. Develop, coach, mentor, and motivate team members to sustain high performance and reduce turnover.
11. Keep workspaces clean and organized.
12. Secure equipment and maintain security protocols.
13. Identify opportunities for process improvements.
14. Model and communicate WFM core values and leadership principles.

Job Skills

* Ability to manage tasks effectively amid dynamic customer flows.
* Strong analysis skills to identify root causes of performance issues.
* Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team-building, and customer relationship skills.
* Ability to teach and develop others positively.
* Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations applications.

Qualifications

* At least 12 months retail experience.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Stand/walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift.
* Use hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
* Bend, twist, squat, and reach as needed.
* Work with FDA-approved cleaning chemicals.
* Work in temperatures below 32°F (freezing), 32-40°F (refrigeration), and above 90°F.
* Work in wet and cold environments.
* Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
* Operate tools and heavy machinery like box cutters and electric pallet jacks.

The wage range for this position is $17.00-$30.20 per hour, based on experience.
