Optimise by Recruitment is excited to be working with a respected manufacturer in the specialist vehicle sector to recruit a Pre-Delivery Inspection Engineer. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical or electrical background to join a stable, forward-thinking business with the added bonus of an early finish every Friday.

What Youll Be Doing
* Conduct pre-delivery inspections on mechanical assemblies and vehicle-mounted equipment
* Perform commissioning, functional testing, and fault-finding
* Follow structured processes to ensure safety, quality, and operational standards are met
* Accurately document inspections and support ongoing product improvements
* Occasionally travel to support inspections at other UK locations
What Were Looking For:
* Previous experience in a hands-on engineering or inspection role
* Understanding of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced workshop environment
* Full UK driving licence
