Our Digital Trade Team
The Digital Trade Team at Oner Active sits at the heart of our eCommerce operation. We are a dynamic and data‑driven group of digital experts focused on creating seamless, impactful customer journeys that drive commercial success. About You
As a Digital Merchandising Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our digital trading strategy and delivering a best‑in‑class online shopping experience. You’ll work closely with our Buying, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to plan, execute, and optimise the presentation of our product range across all digital channels, driving visibility, engagement, and conversion.

You’ll Be Responsible For
Product & Category Merchandising
* Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising teams to plan the roadmap for new product launches and ensure accurate and engaging product setup.
* Manage and maintain all online product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, imagery, pricing, and categorisation.
* Create and optimise new product categories to support commercial strategies and seasonal priorities.
* Categorise and tag new products effectively to ensure maximum visibility, findability, and SEO alignment.
* Manage on‑site filters, sort orders, and balance factors to optimise product and category page performance.
On‑Site Experience & Optimisation
* Lead visual merchandising for key product and homepage categories in line with trading calendars, launches, and marketing campaigns.
* Manage and optimise on‑site search and recommendation tools (e.g. Algolia, Nosto) to enhance product discovery, relevance, and personalisation.
* Continuously test and iterate on site merchandising, content layouts, and product placements to improve engagement, conversion, and AOV.
* Ensure all on‑site content adheres to brand guidelines and delivers a seamless customer experience across devices.
Trading, Analysis & Reporting
* Analyse daily, weekly and monthly trading performance, highlighting key trends, opportunities and risks.
* Report on product, category, and brand performance, presenting insights and recommendations to the wider business.
* Monitor KPIs such as conversion rate, bounce rate and sell‑through to inform trading decisions.
* Build and maintain custom reports using Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics and ContentSquare.
* Champion data‑led decision making to optimise performance and profitability.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Partner with Buying, Marketing and Creative teams to align digital merchandising with promotional and trading priorities.
* Collaborate with UX and Development teams to test and deploy enhancements that improve customer experience and performance outcomes.
* Support global site trading initiatives, ensuring consistent execution across markets and platforms.
You’ll Need To Have
* Proven experience in digital merchandising or e‑commerce trading, ideally within a fast‑paced retail or DTC environment.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience managing sites on Shopify (or similar e‑commerce platform).
* Minimum 3 years hands‑on experience with Algolia for on‑site search and merchandising optimisation.
* Strong understanding of merchandising best practices, product categorisation and conversion optimisation.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
* Proficient in Excel and familiar with Google Analytics or BI dashboards.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commercial mindset.
* Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Nice to Have’s
* Hands‑on experience with Nosto for on‑site search and product recommendations.
* Familiarity with ContentSquare and GA4.
