At New Directions, we are working exclusively with a mainstream primary school in Smethwick who are seeking a long-term SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis with the potential for possible permanent work in future at the school’s discretion.
The school is hoping to integrate the ideal applicant ahead of next academic year as this is a long-term opportunity. The school invests heavily in their staff and training and due to this want to hire ahead of the next academic year to invest accordingly.
This year the successful applicant will be utilized across the SEND hub but mostly in Year 1 and 2 covering long-term absence before long-term class placement next academic year
Previous school experience would be ideal, however as the school are investing in this academic year also, we are open to applications from candidates with transferrable experience from sectors such as residential, support or care work.
This role pays a week in arrears via New Directions internal payroll, on a daily rate ranging from £92.63 to £98.73 per day dependent on experience &/or qualifications
