Job Title: Payments Analytics Manager
Salary: £59,850 - £73,150 (salary banding)
Salary Range: £59,850 - £66,500 (existing range shown may differ from advertised)

About this opportunity
We’re heavily investing in Everyday Banking products and teams to fulfil our purpose of making finance a force for good. You’ll work with large data sets, build dashboards, and craft a compelling narrative to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities
* Designing and implementing advanced data insights solutions for diverse audiences.
* Collaborating with partners to understand needs, translating them into technical requirements, and delivering actionable insights with cross-functional teams (data engineers, analysts, data scientists).
* Implementing data visualization solutions and adhering to standard practices.
* Telling data stories and communicating technical concepts clearly.
* Working across boundaries and with different teams and business areas.
* Performing data analysis across multiple sources.
What you’ll need
* Data Manipulation – Build commercial data capability to improve insight, planning and performance; develop analytical modelling and apply machine learning/AI techniques to understand data and customers.
* Business Intelligence & Visualisation – Establish innovative BI and visualization solutions; identify trends and emerging tools to communicate data effectively.
* Data Analysis – Apply deep data insights to commercial performance.
* Data Management & Governance – Carry out advanced data management activities, referencing international data governance standards and regulatory requirements.
* Business Reporting Tools – Use data science tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI) to inform commercial decisions.
