The Role
You will take full commercial responsibility for large-value education projects, ensuring robust financial management throughout the lifecycle of each scheme. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing all commercial aspects from pre-construction through to final account
* Leading procurement strategies and overseeing subcontractor packages
* Preparing cost plans, forecasts, valuations, and detailed financial reports
* Ensuring compliance with DfE frameworks, processes, and contractual requirements
* Working closely with operational teams to support successful project delivery
* Building and maintaining strong client and supply chain relationships
* Providing mentorship and guidance to junior commercial team members
