Job Overview:
We’re currently working with a busy, modern veterinary practice in Barnsley, that is seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in surgery. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional clinical care, provide preventive services, and treat sick and injured pets while maintaining excellent client communication and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality preventive, medical, and surgical care.
* Manage a diverse caseload and demonstrate a passion for promoting pet wellbeing.
* Work closely with a collaborative team of veterinary professionals.
Practice Facilities:
The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to support advanced veterinary care, including:
* In-house biochemistry, haematology, and urinalysis
* Microscopy
* Dental X-ray
* Ultrasound
* Tonopen
* Modern theatre and imaging equipment
Team Structure:
The team includes 6 Veterinary Surgeons and 8 RVNs, providing a supportive environment and opportunities for mentoring, CPD, and career development.
