A genuinely interesting and highly topical Electronics Engineer role, centred on developing best‑in‑class technology for detecting and tracking unmanned aerial threats. The demand for these systems is huge, backed by a substantial growth pipeline and a busy stream of R&D projects where new ideas are always welcomed - the only limitation is getting the right engineers in to deliver them. The work brings real technical challenge: creating innovative, creative solutions that operate efficiently on battery power, on vehicle platforms, and in harsh, constrained environments where reliability truly matters. You’ll take responsibility for electronic design across several projects, from schematic capture and PCB layout through to prototyping, debugging, and supporting integration. You’ll also mentor junior engineers and work closely with suppliers and cross‑functional teams. Senior Electronics Engineer essential requirements: Strong PCB design experience Schematic capture and hands-on debugging Design for EMC At least 5+ years in electronics engineering Able to work autonomously and manage own work packages Senior Electronics Engineer additional skills of interest: Firmware or embedded software development experience FPGA knowledge SPI, UART, high-speed Ethernet, CAN bus Experience with video or high-speed data systems Designing for rugged or power constrained environments&nbs...
