Second in Charge of Maths (2iC) Location: Westminster An exciting opportunity is available for an ambitious and talented Second in Charge of Maths (2iC) to join a high-performing secondary school in Westminster. This is a crucial leadership role, supporting the Head of Department in driving academic excellence, curriculum development, and the continuous improvement of teaching and learning across the Maths department. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on student outcomes and staff development. The Role The 2iC of Maths will: * Support the Head of Maths in the strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the department. * Lead on specific areas of curriculum development, assessment, or teaching and learning initiatives. * Mentor and support colleagues, including ECTs, to foster excellent teaching practice. * Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of teaching standards and student progress. * Teach engaging and challenging Maths lessons across all key stages.
