Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and prepare lessons under the guidance of senior staff and subject leads
Lead practical activities including instrumental workshops, vocal groups, and performances
Support students in developing their musical abilities and appreciation of different genres
Contribute to school events, concerts, and the wider creative arts programme
Participate in department meetings, training, and whole-school initiatives
Requirements:
A strong academic background in Music (degree or equivalent)
Excellent practical musicianship and theoretical knowledge
A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people
Strong communication and classroom management skills
A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach
Previous experience working with young people in an educational or musical setting is desirable
