Im supporting a well-established regional construction business (c. £100m turnover) who are looking for an organised and proactive Admin Assistant to join their pre-construction team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys detail, structure, and being the person who keeps everything moving behind the scenes -especially within a build or project-led environment.

The role:
Working closely with the work-winning and pre-construction teams, youll provide day-to-day admin support and ensure all early-stage project information is captured, organised and ready when needed. Typical responsibilities include:
Managing incoming project enquiries and keeping documentation updated and neatly organised
Assisting with the preparation of early-stage submissions and written responses
Supporting the completion of standard company information for questionnaires
Collecting information from site teams to help build case studies and supporting documents
Maintaining internal libraries, trackers, past project files and team CVs
Updating central systems and SharePoint sites
Handling client portals, uploading, downloading and sharing information internally
Uploading documents to common data environments and project systems
Carrying out research to support tailored responses
Getting involved in progress reviews and helping keep deadlines on track
What youll need:
Theyre looking for someone who has worked in a similar admin or support role - ideally within construction, engineering, building services or another project-driven environment. You should be confident handling documents, chasing information, and juggling multiple tasks at once.
Youll also bring:
Strong admin and document-control skills
Experience supporting submissions or project documentation
Good IT skills (MS Office, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Experience using InDesign (essential)

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
