Position
Claimont Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant / Support Worker (female only) based in Chelmsford to provide domiciliary care to adults with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and complex health needs.
Responsibilities
* Provide high level of personal care, including tracheostomy care, ventilation management and medication administration.
* Support clients to maintain and improve their well‑being, facilitating independence and access to services.
* Maintain clear professional boundaries within the home setting.
* Collaborate with the Complex Care Lead Nurse and multidisciplinary teams.
* Record care and maintain accurate documentation in line with information governance and data protection standards.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 2 years as a Complex Care Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or equivalent, working with people who have MND or spinal injury.
* NVQ Level 3 related to health or social care, or relevant diploma.
* Demonstrated commitment to client‑specific care and a professional, adaptable approach.
* Experience with tracheostomy, ventilation and medication management.
* Understanding of information governance, data protection, care certificate standards, safeguarding and the ability to communicate with non‑verbal clients.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team across multiple settings.
Work Conditions
Full time or part time (bank staff) basis, based in the community. Rate is £15 per hour.
