Role purpose:
1. Purchase goods, materials and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, taking into account price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply
2. Responsible for order processing and management of supplier delivery performance in line with business requirements
3. Deliver against supplier and business performance objectives
4. Accountable for local commercial management and assigned sourcing for selected areas under his / her responsibility
5. Responsible for in-contract modifications towards suppliers, minor transfers or new products; ensuring that products are sourced at competitive prices in line with aerospace commodity strategy
Key accountabilities:
6. Responsible for all PO demands placed upon suppliers to ensure that key objectives of cost, quality and delivery are secured
7. Responsible for developing and supporting site cost reduction opportunities and supplier development plans in-line with business requirements.
8. Responsible for managing inventory levels for purchased goods in line with business targets
9. Be a point of contact for any cost / contractual issues with suppliers working with procurement management (site) and commodity management
10. Responsible for supplier risk assessments
11. Maintain external capacity reviews
12. Responsible for on-going supplier performance improvement
13. Responsible for the supplier relationship and daily interface
14. Daily communication with internal stakeholders
15. Responsible for following the standard procurement processes
16. Drive implementation of global / regional / local agreements where applicable
17. Contribute into and drive parts of CAPEX projects
Person specification:
18. BSc degree, or equivalent in a Business, Engineering, or Science discipline. Relevant experience can compensate for formal education.
19. Preferably minimum 1-year relevant business experience in Procurement / Commercial or Supply Chain Management roles
20. Experience with ERP- systems
21. Ability to build strong relations and network within the organization and across the supplier base
22. Negotiation and contract negotiation experience would be an advantage
23. Ability to handle high workload and still work in a structural and detail-oriented manner.
24. Being able to have a proactive approach and contribute to problem-solving.
25. Fluent in English and Norwegian, oral and written.

Regular travel to local and international suppliers is to be expected.
