We are currently recruiting for a Shift Lead within the Butter Department at Muller Market Drayton to enable the team to deliver targets and continuously improve performance by coaching and developing our people.

Responsibilities will include
* Creating and delivering development plans.
* Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems.
* Ensures own activities are aligned to overall business objectives.
* People management including delivery of performance review, development and coaching of team, dealing with employee relations issues.
* Collaboratively works with other teams to improve our business.
* Deep knowledge of Operational Excellence, coaching team on use of the principles and tools.
Key Tasks
* Creating and delivering development plans.
* Creating succession pathways both up through and across the organisation.
* High level problem solving capability and facilitation skills.
* Go, look, see issues by visiting the workstation when called upon.
* Coaching front line team members, enabling them to solve problems.
* Uses PDCA techniques to follow problems through to 100‑year fix in real time.
* Encourages others to seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converts to own operational excellence projects.
* Owns and delivers operational excellence initiatives and is recognised for these.
* Looks and encourages others to find waste opportunities in everything that we do.
Learning and Development
* Site and department induction.
* Operational Excellence Advanced.
* All Dairy Technical Competency Workshops.
* Train the Trainer (inc coaching & facilitation).
* People Essentials.
* Developing Teams Using Pathfinder.
* Level 3 Fit for Leadership Apprenticeship Programme or equivalent Fit for Leadership modules.
