The Role
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chef, located in the Corbridge Area. The Chef will be responsible for planning and preparing menus, cooking meals to high-quality standards, managing inventory, and ensuring proper food storage and hygienic practices. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the kitchen team, maintaining a clean and organized cooking environment, and contributing to exceptional dining experiences for guests. The Chef will also assist in cost management and support the team in meeting the venue's culinary goals. Onsite accommodation available to the right candidate.
The Candidate
Proficiency in menu planning, food preparation, and culinary techniques
Strong organizational skills, including inventory management and kitchen operations
Experience in maintaining food safety, hygiene standards, and ensuring cleanliness
Creativity in preparing meals and ability to adapt to customer preferences
Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Degree or equivalent qualifications and work experience
Prior experience in hospitality or food establishment environments.
