Our client, a leader in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking five Mission Systems Engineers to join their team in Warton on a contract basis. The positions are for a 12-month duration with hybrid arrangements to be confirmed. The roles will involve working on crucial defence projects, ensuring systems are optimally designed, integrated, and maintained to meet rigorous standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing, developing, and integrating mission systems solutions for defence applications
Ensuring all systems meet specified project requirements and industry standards
Conducting systems analysis and providing technical input to the team
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Providing technical support and troubleshooting for deployed mission systems
Participating in design reviews and providing constructive feedback
Maintaining accurate documentation of engineering processes and outcomes
Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies as needed
Job Requirements:
Strong understanding of mission systems in the Defence & Security sector
Proficiency in systems design, development, and integration
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders
Ability to adapt to dynamic project requirements and work within a hybrid work environment
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
