Mid-Level Business Designer – Glasgow (Hybrid)

Are you passionate about turning complex ideas into powerful stories that inspire action? We’re looking for a Business Designer who combines exceptional visual thinking, compelling storytelling, and human-centred design to help run and drive meaningful strategic change.

In this role, you’ll work in our CPG team to bring ideas to life and turn strategy into action—through engaging narratives, clear visuals, and collaborative workshops—shaping solutions that resonate with people at every level. Ideally, you come from a visual communications background, thrive in front of a group, and are eager to take your career to the next level. You’ll join our growing Business Design team in Glasgow, working with some of the world’s largest companies in CPG/FMCG to create impact where it matters most.

What you will do

If you’re a designer who loves turning complex ideas into clean, compelling stories this might be your next big move. We’re looking for a Business Designer who knows how to engage people through clear, compelling communication.

In this hands-on role, you’ll:

· Run and create engaging client projects around internal and external communications and visual content - from designing email newsletters to editing stakeholder video updates

· Collaborate with clients to co-develop stories that bring strategy, change, or innovation to life

· Design presentation decks that blend clear messaging with clean, engaging visuals

· Support teams in communicating during periods of complexity or transformation

· Manage stakeholder communications with empathy, clarity, and consistency

· Support the CPG lead with managing client expectations.

Who are we?

Do Tank is a small team of ~20 people, delivering business design and pioneers human-centred strategies, leveraging design thinking for impactful, long-term change in complex global organizations. Our team is spread across Chicago and Glasgow.

About you

You’re a visual storyteller with a strategic mind - maybe you’ve worked in graphic design, motion/brand content, journalism or marketing and now you're curious about business and how design can influence strategic change. You’re a communicator, storyteller, and thinker who thrives in collaborative environments. You’re curious about how businesses grow, and you’re not afraid to get stuck in and make things happen.

Strong Visual & written communication skills are a must, and you should feel comfortable pulling together content such as a deck, email blast, or video that not only looks great, but lands the message.

You might come from marketing, business development, communications, design, or academia. We’ve welcomed people from all these paths—and we value diverse thinking.

* Experience facilitating discussions and presenting to stakeholders
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Interest in data and storytelling to demonstrate value and impact
