Position Overview:
We're looking for a Stone Worktop Labourer Trainee who shares our commitment to quality. This role is all about precision, professionalism, and doing the job right first time. You'll be the face of Discovery Stone on-site, working in customers' homes and on projects that demand care, attention, and a flawless finish.
Key Responsibilities:
* Help Deliver and install various types of stone worktops to the highest standard.
* Learn how to Use seam setters, resins, and polishing tools to achieve seamless joins.
* Represent Discovery Stone professionally in clients' homes and on building sites.
* Communicate clearly with customers and the office team to ensure smooth installations.
* Troubleshoot on-site if needed, always with a calm and solutions-focused mindset.
* Keep tools, van, and materials well organized and maintained.
What We're Looking For:
* Ideally someone who is strong and fit due to the nature of the job.
* A reliable person who has exemplary time keeping.
* Comfortable lifting and handling heavy materials with the correct equipment and technique.
* Clean driving license a Bonus. (Clean)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Able to work calmly under pressure and keep a positive attitude with clients.
* Experience working solo and as part of a team.
