Are you alert, dependable, and ready to take on a critical role in keeping high-value goods safe? We're looking for dedicated Security Officers to join our growing team and play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment here at our Sheffield site based in S35. We’re seeking experienced individuals who are flexible and capable of working either day or night shifts. Our day shifts range between 9 to 12 hours and fall between 05:30am and 22:30pm, while our night shifts are fixed 12-hour shifts from 18:00pm to 06:00am, following a 4 on, 4 off rotational shift pattern. In return, you'll receive a competitive hourly rate of £12.62, along with a structured development plan that includes ongoing training, mentorship.
As a Warehouse Security Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our operation—protecting stock, monitoring premises and ensuring our site stays secure around the clock. Key Responsibilities of our Security Guard:
1. Ensure the safety and security of people, premises, and property through vigilant monitoring and proactive measures
2. Control access and egress, including greeting and directing visitors, contractors, and overseeing vehicle movements
3. Monitor CCTV systems and observe/report day-to-day activities to maintain a secure environment
4. Carry out staff searches and perform on-site drug & alcohol testing in line with company procedures
5. Handle gatehouse administration tasks efficiently, maintaining accurate records and reports
What we are looking for in our Secuirty Guard:
6. Previous experience in a gatehouse or security role? Bring your expertise to a dynamic and fast-paced environment!
7. Confident communicator with strong customer service skills? We want your people-first approach!
8. Hold a valid SIA Licence (DS/SG)? You're exactly who we're looking for!
9. First Aid or Fire Marshal certified? That’s a big plus – your extra skills can make a real difference!
