We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Non-Invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in Barnet. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality cardiac diagnostic services. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of non-invasive cardiac tests and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct non-invasive cardiac tests such as ECGs, Holter monitoring, and exercise tolerance tests.
* Explain procedures to patients, ensure their comfort, and accurately record test results.
* Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare professionals to interpret results and contribute to patient care plans.
* Maintain and calibrate equipment, adhere to clinical protocols, and stay updated with advancements in cardiac diagnostics.
* Participate in quality assurance activities.
* Assist in training and supervising junior staff.
* Contribute to departmental policies and procedures.
* Provide patient education on heart health and lifestyle modifications.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Degree in Cardiac Physiology or related field.
* HCPC registration.
* Previous experience in a non-invasive cardiac diagnostic setting.
* Proficiency in ECGs, Holter monitoring, and exercise tests.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
